More “Santa To A Senior”

Here at Home Instead Senior Care, we were so blessed this year to be able to “gift” 119 seniors. On Tuesday, we took the giving party to Federal Way. We were joined by 4Funn, four ladies who sang Christmas carols in the barbershop quartet fashion. Verrazano’s provided a spaghetti dinner for everyone. On Wednesday, we traveled to Marysville and celebrated with another group of lovely seniors. Today, in Spokane, we had a choir join us and perform for the seniors as we celebrated together.

These are seniors who live on a set income, their rent is usually subsidized and even though the Fred Meyer gift certificates that we gave to each was only $42, it was a welcome and surprising gift. One gentleman today said that he could go and buy himself a new pair of pants that he needed desperately.

We have already started collecting new funds for next year. If you, your office or just someone you know is interested in participating in our Be A Santa To A Senior program, please contact Lois at 425-359-7137 or for more information.
